SkiResort3D — Privacy Policy

SkiResort3D (“the app”) is a ski-resort viewer and personal activity tracker. This policy explains exactly what data the app uses and how it is handled. The short version: your data stays on your device.

Information we collect

SkiResort3D does not require an account and does not collect personal information on any server. The app has no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs.

• Location: When you tap Start on the Record tab, the app reads your GPS location to measure speed, distance, vertical descent, and to draw your track. Recording may continue while the screen is locked so a full ski run can be captured. Location is used only while a recording is active and stops the moment you tap Stop.

How your data is stored

Recorded sessions (track points, speed, elevation and summary statistics) are saved locally on your device only. They are never transmitted to us or to any third party, and are never sold or shared.

How your data is used

Your recorded data is used solely to display your live stats, your saved sessions, and the charts and maps inside the app on your device.

Deleting your data

You can delete any session at any time from the Logbook (swipe or long-press a session, or use the trash button in a session’s detail view). Deleting the app removes all recorded data from your device.

Maps

Map and satellite imagery is provided by Apple Maps (MapKit). Your use of map features is subject to Apple’s privacy practices.

Children

SkiResort3D is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
